New Business:

Jim Fitzpatrick, Victoria C.S.C. made comments of stability of Victoria C.S.C..

Jacky Meehan, NAFCSC President: NAFCSC membership cards available (1000 cards ordered) at $2.00 US apiece. If interested, clubs should send in list of members. Additional names for cards (from each C.S.C.) should be submitted in lots of 10.

Johnny Moore, San Francisco CSC proposed that the NAFCSC start a charitable fund for Kevin Reynolds, Celtic supporter beaten after 2000 Cup Final.

A question raised about total membership of NAFCSC. No accurate number available at present — clubs report members at beginning of season.

John McAloon, Houston C.S.C. reports on the Houston C.S.C. raffle at 1998 Convention.

Houston C.S.C. announced that they would pay an additional $50.00 per match (as result of successful 1998 Vegas raffle).

Vancouver C.S.C. announced that they would pay an additional $50.00 per match (to be directed toward Victoria C.S.C.'s fees).

Peter Milligan, Treasurer announced that initial eleven (11) clubs would receive their $500.00 dollars deposits. A discussion of using this money as a "safety net" for struggling clubs ensued.

Peter Milligan: forward 40 checks for upcoming season to NAFCSC not to be cashed until 3 days after the match is shown.

Satellite discussions: (quality issues: are clubs liable for matches with poor reception?) Tom deals with Shane O'Rourke at Setanta on individual issues — there is a responsibility for clubs to make sure that their systems are in order.

New satellite for the upcoming season Telstar 6 (T-6). This will be a good satellite — make sure you are tuned for it.

Discussions of missing clubs — scheduling conflict with Boston C.S.C.
