Thanks for returning (in one year)
Apologies for some confusion around table assignments
Thanks to Cleveland and Houston for working with us to resolve situation.
Federation is no longer in a growth mode
In the last year, we have lost a few member clubs.
As technology changes, the nature of NAFCSC will change.
We started the Federation to see matches, but the Federation is more than that now.
Jacky thanked all the Executives of the NAFCSC clubs and stated that they deserve the appreciation of their individual members.
Treasurer's Report:
Peter Milligan noted that Information packets were distributed and the financials were reviewed at the President's meeting (Friday morning).
Please contact Peter for more details
Vice-President's Report:
Ongoing changes with Satellite Broadcast/ Internet TV
Celtic TV representatives (Tony Hamilton & John Cole) are aware of issues regarding the Federation.
We are continue to work with Celtic regarding local clubs.
Internet Champions Legaue rights are not controlled by Celtic
Commentators – there will be a tine for action – we’ll provide an email address to discuss issues.
Money will not go up for clubs; in to accomplish this we are allowing Fox Sports Canada – Fox Sports Channel to show the matches
(72 hour delay – but we are flexible if the situation warrants it).
Setanta TV (on Direct TV) has started showing the matches on delay;
there are questions about whether they are violating the 72 hour rule.
Keep Peter and Tam informed about Satellite issues (email – let them know as soon as possible)
Keep satellite ‘re-sighted’ especially after winter (freeze thaw cycle effects performance).
Suggestion about subscriptions to Setanta TV(Joe Chalmers/ NO and Joe Morrow/Sarnia)
Comaprison to Australia (Setanta does door - $25.00)
