Setanta Videocode Decoder Wiring Diagram
Before the installation of the Setanta decoder, postion your Satellite receiver on T6 13 or any free to air channel on this Satellite. Check the signal quality as when the install is completed successfully you should have the same feed passing through the decoder.
Follow the wiring diagram above which shows two different methods off output to your TV’s.
1) RF Channel 3 or Channel 4 to your TV’s or
2) direct video and audio via a modulator system to TV’s.
After the wiring is complete insert a pen into the Learn function on the remote control. The decoder will now start tuning through the Channels to 59 or 99 then come back and stop on either Channel 3 or Channel 4. If it stops at Channel 3 the switch 3 / 4 at the rear off the Setanta will require to be reset to Channel 3.
